Evolved and Visceral

If you have ever listened to all one and enjoyed the third song, rock in a heart space, you will adore this album. There is a certain modern feel to the songs but doesn't sacrifice the beauty of the underlying method and style of Krishna Das that you might be accustomed to. Unfortunately the samples are too short and don't do the songs any justice since the tempos, themes and developments are what make the songs so enjoyable. There is a sense of tremendous joy that will spill over to those who are here for the ride. Krishna Das has given us another gift and I for one am not dissapointed in the least for receiving it. What a great addition to the music that I have grown to love. Thank you Krishna Das, thank you, thank you. God bless.

Heart as Wide as the World

I love this song, not any one in particular, pick ANY song on this album and I'll get teary-eyed. I like the previous comment, the samples are too short to feel the progression KD takes us through. I find myself singing these songs, mantras, with devotion and humility because the songs themselves are so beautiful they evoke an abundance of love and compassion, the whole while reinforced by speaking God's name(s). Thank you Krishna Das, namaste.
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare!

Influential spiritual leader Ram Dass described Das as "an example of someone whose heartsongs open the channels to God". Das' connections to Indian spirituality developed in his early 20s. Having grown up on jazz, blues and rock and roll,...
