Grown up fun

The reference point is late period Nick "Nat King Cole" Lowe, just one of the many masters that Geraint has soulfully supported over the years (along with Morrison, McCartney, Wyman, etc...). Perhaps not a keg-party rave up, but Geraint swings & sings like (mellow) hell...perfect for a late night by the fireplace with a nice bottle of red wine. Kids need not apply, unless they've enough life experience and taste to appreciate real music, made by humans. Melodious, melancholy & masterful. Don't miss his previous product, "Dial 'W' for Watkins", a true gem.

An exhilarating player of the accordion, Geraint Watkins played rock & roll, blues, Cajun, and several stations in between. From the early '80s through to the beginning of the new century, with occasional breaks when the going got too tough, he was a member of the high-living British band the Balham Alligators. The band played the pub circuit around London (and occasionally farther afield), also recording several entertaining albums. Watkins also played with Tom Jones, Nick Lowe, Paul McCartney,...
