The Gospel According to Bob Bailey: past and present

We have been listening to Bob Bailey since he was a child, singing with his brothers at Maranatha Church of God in Portland Oregon in the early 70s. I still want to know if he ever recorded "I am Somebody". We just ran over an audio cassette of these songs that he recorded, in, what was it, the 80s? He has the best quality voice of any male singer, classical or popular singer, both. The sweet nasal quality, the great pronunciation, the mellow heart, all makes me think that his mother must have been great. (I'm a mother; so I get to say that!) You can sing along. You can remember the melodies. He sings with energy that few really match. The message is inspiring, his life was burned in God's crucible which makes you more pure. He really should be better known. This is not your screaming singer; this is your meticulous artist.
