They write the songs...

I saw the band for the second time and they played many of the songs on the new cd. I can't stop singing them to myself, I had better learn all the words. Very talented group of guys and great guitar licks! Songwriting like this cannot be ignored! Blessed Are is my favorite track. Give them a listen and join me as a fan.

Red Jacket Mine is an awesome band, and this is their best album yet. Their music is so well written and performed, from lyrics to melody the songs stick with you all day. I feel so lucky to have found this band... don't miss it. They are great live, worth every bit (and more) of buzz they've been accumulating around the Pacific Northwest.

Thoughtful Band

I have a reason to be a little prejudice towards this band, BUT, I still think they are extremely thought provoking. The song writing, arrangements, and performances are elegant and quite unique I think!

Hello, Old Cloud was released in early 2008 by Showpony Records and featured string arrangements by Eyvind Kang. The band's next album, 2009's Lovers Lookout, also featured Kang and was produced by the Posies'...
