iTunes Review

Riding With the King is the sound of two roosters scratching, crowing, and strutting around the henhouse. King and Clapton whip up loads of crying guitar genius, like the licks they trade on “Three O’Clock Blues” and “When My Heart Beats Like a Hammer.” The pair also have a blast sharing the mic. King even gets his English protégé to unleash a Memphis growl in the midst of a soul-funk version of Sam & Dave’s “Hold On! I’m Comin’.” Slowhand never sounded so wild.

WOW ALBUM REVIEW

ARE YOU TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO NOT BUY THIS AMAZING ALBUM? WHY SUCH A NEGATIVE REVIEW? TOTALLY UNECESSARY. iT'S ALMOST AS IF YOU GOT SOMEONE WHO DOESNT LIKE EITHER BB KING OR ERIC CLAPTON TO DO THE REVIEW. GREAT ALBUM, TERRIBLE REVIEW.

Most have CD for Fans of Mr Clapton and the Real King (B.B. King that is)

I bought this CD when it came out and listened to it all the time - over my many moves and the years I lost the CD and it's good to own this album again! Ride on!!!

Two masters at work. Plain and simple.

Everyone always says "Clapton is God" and they're right. His simple phrasing in his slower jams is so awesome on this album and B.B. King and Eric are great on Riding. B.B. is always spot on and the two of them are perfect compliments to each other's styles. Don't try to pick and choose between songs, just buy the album, there's no stinkers on it anywhere.

Universally hailed as the king of the blues, the legendary B.B. King was without a doubt the single most important electric guitarist of the last half of the 20th century. His bent notes and staccato picking style influenced legions of contemporary bluesmen, while his gritty and confident voice -- capable of wringing every nuance from any lyric -- provided a worthy match for his passionate playing. Between 1951 and 1985, King notched an impressive 74 entries on Billboard's R&B charts, and he was...
