Last Halloween brings me back!

Jyrki, this sounds like old 69 Eyes and I think I speak for us all, when I say- "We Want More!"

80's horror flick soundtrack. Killer!

B Dazzler,

Hearing first 2 early released tracks Halloween and Bloodlust didn't do much for me. Liked them but were kinda cheesy with simple lyrics and just "meh" for me. Liked the production though and, obviously, the vocals. So somewhat lowered expectations for full album. Oh boy what a pleasant surprise. I was wrong. Halfway through first track and I was like YESSSSS! This is what I was hoping Jyrkis solo album would sound like! 3/4 of the songs music sounds like an 80's zombie movie or slasher flick. Those synths! So awesome. Dark, creepy, haunting. Then put his baritone, and some times higher range and tender, vocals with it and it's just perfect. Cool lyrics too. Kinda reminds me of like a Fields of the Nephilim meets Sisters of Mercy meets 69 Eyes with maybe some Wednesday 13 thrown in. But truly its own beast! Very original. And I've only listened through twice so far. Ad Infinitum, Spanish Steps and In Your Dreams are early favorites. Very impressed. Really killer record. If you like goth and some rock, check out this release.
