EDITORS’ NOTES

Seven albums into their multiplatinum career, Nickelback know where their bread is buttered: riffs that sound like someone dropped a chainsaw into a wood chipper propelled by swaggering rhythms for stripping and/or stomping ("God almighty, look at that body," brays Chad Kroeger on "Gotta Get Me Some"). Yet Here and Now isn't without its twists: "Lullaby" is just that, a power ballad worthy of a summer blockbuster love story, and the single "When We Stand Together" swings with a power pop chorus that's hard to shake. Lest anyone think our heroes have gone soft, "Midnight Queen" delivers the hard rock goods.

Nickelback never disappoints!

Nickelback didn't cut corners on this album. Every song is just like on Dark Horse; you can tell that a lot of effort went into it. Although there aren't as many "powerhouse" songs like Something in Your Mouth or Shakin Hands, it's still a great addition to any rock collector. Definitely worth your money.

Simply Amazing

What do you do when you mix Nickelback's stadium blow away songs, other songs with molodec sound and beautiful meanings? This album "Here and Now". Though Mutt Lang hasn't worked with them this time around, the record is still fanstastic! A must have for sure!! My favorite songs are "When We Stand Together", "Midnight Queen", "Lullaby" and "Bottoms Up" they all have the signature rock sound, all amazing in they're own way, the songs that is.
