Finally

Been waiting years for this album to be released in the US. Finally it's here and great tracks. Amazing 'in your eyes' cover.

About time!! Keep it coming!

I paid to get the Japanese version when it was originally released a few years back. I had seen a couple shows before they released the album and was convinced just by hearing Mosquito and 1985 that this album would be a continued & revitalized success for the band, but sometimes record label mumbo jumbo tends to leave too much good material in purgatory. However, ever since I've made it a point to correct everyone that 1985 is really by SR-71, whenever it came on the radio. Now hopefully new masses can learn this fact on their own.

I know each member of the band (or atleast the last configuration I knew of) pretty much has their own successes the past few years but boy do I hope they can squeeze out some more SR-71 material & shows together.

C'mon Mitch, give us some more!!

Perfect Songs!

You're looking at one of the best. Mitch can sing, John can play those drums, and every song is a hit. It's finally in the U.S.!
This band deserved a lot more attention than it got but I was one of the die hard fans who had all their albums.
They are similar to Green Day but more complex song structures and better vocals. Mitch sings with such emotion and his voice is very melodious.
It's about time someone made a heavy version of the original song "In Your Eyes".
All the songs on here are excellent but my favorites are: "All American," "AXL Rose," and "In Your Eyes". Buy the whole mp3 album!

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

Taking their name from the fastest airplane ever built, the alternative rock foursome SR-71 are here to stand and deliver jaunty punk songs with a corporate rock edge. Coming together in the early '90s in their native Baltimore, SR-71 — guitarist frontman Mitch Allan, bassist Jeff Reid, drummer Dan Garvin, and guitarist Mark Beauchemin — lunge into quick swirling three chord loops and spastic excitement, similar to punk-pop revivalists such as Blink 182 and Less Than Jake. SR-71's raw...
