A wodensend album

This came out literally days before being pulled out of Iraq. This isn't a critical review of each song (you can get that from Amazon), it's just a nod at how good they are. Along the vien of Rammstien, this album has some great industrial music. It made the last few days in Iraq more endurable. It took iTunes long enough to get it, I hope they'll be quicker with Eiscbrecher's next album (when it comes out). If you like Megaherz, Oomph! or Rammstein, you'll like Eisbrecher.


Eisbrecher has got to be one of the best bands out there. Alexx's voice as he sings in the German language combined with the eletronic music makes for the perfect partnership. This album comes extremely highly recommended to anyone.

Shadow of Rammstein

When anyone thinks of German music, Rammstein is probably the first thing to come to mind. Not many german bands can stand in his shadow, but quite honestly, I think this band is doing a nice job. Kudos

Eisbrecher ("Icebreaker") is a splinter group of Megaherz, the greats of the Neue Deutsche Härte ("new German hardness") that was formed in 2003, when vocalist/songwriter Alexx Wesselsky quit due to creative differences and proceeded to make electronic trip-rock, a slightly altered, more synth-reliant version of his previous band's sound, along with Noel Pix, who had played keys on two of Megaherz's albums.
