This is the start!

This is the first album by a band that stands the test of time! Buy This Album! Filters first effort! Raw! Powerful! Real! Rock is not dead!

killer album

What a great debut album!!!! An industrial classic.

How It Should Be

Quite possibly the best industrial album of the '90's, and it really stands the test of time today. That said, if you're here because you like "Take a Picture," or any other song like it, you're in for a surprise. This is not "that" album. It's raw, edgy, hard and bold; A testament to what Filter used to be all about. Don't be fooled by their modern sound, they were once extremely good. Buy this album if you're up for it. One of my favorites of all-time.

Richard Patrick, an early touring member of Nine Inch Nails, met Brian Liesegang and the two began to record together under the name Filter. Their debut album, Short Bus, released on Reprise in 1995, became a surprise hit thanks to the single "Hey Man, Nice Shot"; by the end of the summer, the album had reached gold status. Liesegang departed in 1997 over creative differences, but Patrick retained the Filter name for 1999's Title of Record, which eventually went platinum and spawned...
