10 years was too long to wait for the release of this album

A stunning piece of artistry

Hibernia could very well lend itself to the sound track of an epic blockbuster movie. Individually each piece is crafted to perfection, but collectively flow from "Hallowed fire" to "the Dawn" by taking you on what can only be described as spiritual journey. There is something on Hibernia for everyone. Mairead's playing is mesmerizingly soothing and the sound of her fiddle/violin is rich and silky in tone. This album can only be described as a absolute masterpiece.


The brilliance of Mairead Nesbitt's talents combined with a full orchestra creates some of the most moving and beautiful music I've ever heard.
