"Don't say" was on an episode of One Tree Hill years ago and I fell in love with the song. This cd took a long time but completely worth it. I'm very exited about this cd :)

Worth the wait

Beautiful melodies and lyrics! You are missing out if you don't give this music a listen.

This album is high atop other artists

A hybrid of Lily Allen and Imogen Heap is one way to describe High Atop the Houses and the Towns by St. Lola in the Fields. “Fly”, the first track on the duo’s debut album, balances gentle chimes with the deep, unique didgeridoo sounds. Moderate tempo songs like “Fly” are well balanced by the charming, intimate “Don’t Say”. The soft strings and deep bass of the piano accompany the textures of Cindy Brouwer’s voice well.
High Atop the Houses and the Towns is most impressive when listened to in the order writers Brouwer and Jeremy Bose arrange it.
The last song on the album, appropriately titled “Say Goodbye” will leave you sad the album has ended. The four minute song develops from a slow lyrical piece with gentle piano accompaniment to a more complex piece complete with percussion by a tambourine and snare drum.
