Customer Reviews

TOUGH original Rock Music for psychic Rebels...

Richard Lloyd is a remarkably STRONG guitarist and songwriter ... it helps that he is a True New York Legend who still moves the roof every singly time he steps onstage. His quirky way with a guitar riff comes easy because he knows every note on the neck and just the right way to wring it . Purchase this gem and feel the ENERGY . Superb playing great songs !

A rare treat

If anybody loved Televison, then this album is a MUST! Richard Lloyd shines on this!

Richard Lloyd - Lodestones

I don't do expansive reviews for no money or swag, so this will be short.
Richard Lloyd is a terrific guitarist with great chops, real feeling and a signature sound.
He's also a songwriter with an increasingly impressive and diverse catalog.
As a singer his gifts are modest, but his instincts are good and he never betrays them

"Lodestones" is an entertaining collection from his odds and sods archives. Nearly every track features
some combination of sharp pop songwriting and dazzling guitar playing; they don't always go together - Lloyd makes them go together.
It's not easy.

I recommend "Lodestones" highly to anyone who loves good pop song craft and guitar playing that's flash, but always in support of the material.

Good stuff.
