Hilary Hahn/Natalie Zhu

Beautiful, tasteful Mozart chamber music. Impeccable phrasing and ensemble. Hahn is so in tune it almost sounds like she has invisible frets. Zhu plays Mozart like fresh butter. Thanks for the classic interpretation and helping the music "speak for itself." Anna Sophie-Mutter could learn something here.

Great CD!

I LOVE this CD! Not only are the sonatas played with excellent phrasing, but I also love the two tracks at the end where Hahn talks about these sonatas. It's a rare find, and well worth the money. She is one of few respectable violinists left today, and you can really hear the difference between her music and that of someone more concentrated on themselves than the music. Music that never wears

First of all, to thank Mozart for the dream of its music, secondly to give an applause to the virtousity in their performance to the two young masters, who carried us to joyfully in to three very different ambiences, it has been a pleasant and instructive record, the booklet is great and the recording is superb. Thank you for the joy of music!!!!

She began studying the violin a Baltimore Suzuki class just before she turned four and started working with a private tutor, Klara Berkovich, about a year later. Hahn would work with her for the next five years at Peabody...
