maybe the most beautiful CDI own

This music is stunningly beautiful and well recorded and, let's face it, sad. Note that only the first piece is by Hindemith; the second is Benjamin Britten and the third the equally great Krzystof Penderecki. The viola playing is out of this world, the music sensous and lyrical and tragic, the audio quality pretty much perfect (at least on CD). Get this: you will not be touched.

He later moved to New York to study piano and conducting at the Juilliard School of Music; in 1968 he began to conduct the school's ensemble.
