Incredible!

Flawless execution of technical death metal. Nile is the band that all other death metal bands are measured against! Buy this and let your ears bleed!

Maybe their best yet. Seriously.

Incredibly fast, incredibly technical, and they absolutely blew me away with the sheer brutality this time. Probably their most aggressive yet? It's tech death, but also incredibly melodic at times. It's currently 12:15 AM, and I'll be staying up all night to blast this. Side note, but I guess they got rid of their female lead singer (lol @ itunes)

Their most focused effort to date

Nile have been a force within the metal community for quite some time now, but I would dare say that this album is the defining album for Nile. The precision of the blast beats, the killer riffs, the powerful vocals, and the lyrical themes all blend together near perfectly to create an amazing work of art. Death Metal enthusiasts will not be disappointed by this beast of an album.

"Kafir!" has become my overall favorite Nile song.

Combining the extreme speed and nihilism of modern death metal with the ancient styling of Middle Eastern music, Nile formed in their hometown of Greenville, SC, in 1993. With their self-proclaimed trademark of "Ithyphallic Metal," Karl Sanders (guitar/vocals), Chief Spires (bass/vocals), and Pete Hammoura (drums) debuted with their Festivals of Atonement album in 1995, leading Nile to a southwestern tour in support of other big metal acts such as Obituary, Deicide, and Broken Hope.
