Best Album by The Color Morale!

Shane73607,

Hold On Pain Ends is just as inspirational and hopeful as the title gives away right off the bat. This album includes strong and beautiful clean vocals, some of Garret's best lyrics, and overall an elaborate aesthetic. This album helped me through some tough times and I couldn't thank the band enough.

About The Color Morale

Formed in 2005, the Color Morale are a metalcore band based out of Rockford, Illinois. Made up of vocalist Garret Rapp, guitarists Devin King, Aaron Saunders, and Ramon Mendoza, bassist Justin Hieser, and drummer Steve Carey, the band's sound features a strong emotional core fortified by intense, punishing fits of chugging metal. Signed to Rise Records in 2009, the Color Morale made their debut later that year with We All Have Demons. A second, My Devil in Your Eyes, followed in 2011 and found the band jumping on the Billboard Heatseekers and Christian charts (despite claims from the band that, while the members identify as Christians, they don't see themselves as a Christian band). Their third album, Know Hope, appeared in 2013. Following a spot on the Vans Warped Tour in 2014, the Color Morale joined the Fearless Records roster and released their fourth LP, Hold On Pain Ends, in 2014, which included the singles "Outer Demons" and "Suicide; Stigma," the latter of which featured guest vocals from We Came as Romans' Dave Stephens. In June 2016, the band issued a new single, "Walls," in anticipation of the release of their fifth studio long-player, Desolate Divine, which arrived later that August. ~ Gregory Heaney
