Absolutely Stunning! A touching insight to the life of a true man.

I really hope this isn't the only song on this new release because this song is absolutely amazing! Russell has once again proved that he is one of the premier songwriters of our time and we are truly blessed to have a gift like him serenading our hearts time after time!

Great song!

Saw him perform it live at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, not a dry eye. And Russell, I will by you some Tequila, not Prozac, when come to my place. Great Job!!!

Yet Another Great Russell Smith Song

In my humble opinion, Russell Smith is one of the greatest songwriters of our generation. This is another jewel that captures all of the emotion and heartbreak of a fractured family. I wish at some point in his career, that he would write a "gleenings" book about his life - what a great autobiography that would be. I had the immense pleasure of seeing him and his "original" band in Laramie Wyoming in the late '70's and those concerts are with me still. One of the greatest songwriters, composers, arrangers, and singers of our generation. This is another pearl George - best wishes always. From a fan for life - Ron Gibson Union City, Michigan

Smith has also kept his performing chops honed with projects such as the ironic country-rock unit known as Run C&W. The Amazing Rhythm Aces originally were formed in 1974 by a Memphis-based...
