Album Review

We Came as Romans' 2011 sophomore album Understanding What We've Grown to Be followed up the band's 2009 debut, We Plant a Seed. Lyrically somewhat darker in tone than its predecessor, Understanding What We've Grown to Be is also a bigger, more robust production that showcases the band’s growth as an ensemble. Along with We Came as Romans' hard-hitting metalcore sound, the band incorporates some piercing synthesizer and orchestral arrangements that add to the album's epic quality. [A CD/DVD version was also released.]

Why Another Deluxe Edition?

I'm tired if WCAR releasing a deluxe edition with just a couple new songs on them a year after an album comes out. It's very depressing. I was expecting a whole new release today after following them on fb. Anywho, I'm not gonna rate this lower than 5 stars because this album is a masterpiece and their 3 new singles are great. I can't decide which one is between between "The King of Silence" and "Let These Words Last Forever". Both are incredible. "Hope" is good too. But far superior to those two. Here's hoping for a full new release sometime in the near future.

Awesome!

I bought the original album over a year ago, these new songs are a great addition! WCAR is one of the few bands that haven't lost their uniqueness that sets them apart from other bands. Love the songs! Keep up the good work!

Awesome!!!

The new songs are great. It seems they cut down on the autotune which is reaaly nice sounds new and different.
