iTunes Review

On this expanded version of Daigle’s heartfelt 2015 full-length debut, five additional tracks round out the Louisiana-based crooner’s first foray into worship. Her sweet, smoky vocals are infused with spiritual weight on tracks like “Come Alive (Dry Bones),” a spare, Ezekiel 37-inspired call for restoration. This good Southern girl may have been turned away by American Idol, but the honest questioning on tunes like “Now Is Forever” and the wide-eyed wonder of “Wordless” give voice to understated adoration, a new, prayerful brand of praise.

Great album...

I would have given this album 5 stars, because it deserves 5 stars on content. However, I took one star out of my rating because I hate when labels do this.
They release a great album and all of the loyal fans buy that album because we love the singer and want to support them and enjoy their music; but then 6 months later they release a "Deluxe Edition" with a couple live performances included. So those of us that supported her and bought the album when it came out have basically been left out in the cold...unless we want to buy another album, or a few single songs.
I just don't appreciate that. Offer a reduced add on for people who already bought the album.
I get that they need to get as much as they can from an album sales wise. They're trying to make a living off of their work. But, I think it's an obvious way to stretch a successful album instead of releasing a new one with new content or even releasing an album of just live performances.

That being said, this is a great album, I highly recommend buying it. I would buy this one if I didn't already own the original release. The songs are beautiful and her voice is infectious for those of us that sing. It makes me want to sing right along with her. The live songs are beautiful. It really is a great album with the spiritual connection I'm looking for.

This song is ministering to the very core of my soul! So blessed by Lauren's ministry! Greatly anticipating Album #2!!!!

Jesus Won

Through these songs the Spirit is restoring life to sons who have rebelled, daughters who feel ashamed, marriages that have been broken by lust and selfishness, and countless people who are simply weary and looking for a reason to hope. (I am a son that had rebelled).

These songs bring together a body of broken and dirty people who have been reminded of the Hope named Jesus, the grace that has been freely given and the call to actively love and show hope and grace to the world.

To all the people who allowed God to work through them in the creation of these songs- thank you.

Growing up in Lafayette, Louisiana surrounded by gospel, zydeco, blues, and Cajun music, Christian praise & worship singer and songwriter Lauren Daigle was always singing around the house as a child, but it wasn't until a serious illness kept her out of school for nearly two years beginning when she was 15 years old that she turned completely to music as both solace and a profession. Home-schooled during that time, music became Daigle's hedge against social isolation, and she began singing at her...
