"Southern" Speaks My Language

"Southern" has the early sound of Lancaster and Britt, much like the album, "Conquerors." That sound is young and pure and heartfelt, albeit sometimes a hair less than professional grade.

This album has several songs from the album, "While the Ages Roll On," previously released only on cassette, such as, "While the Ages Roll On," "How Great Thou Art," When They Ring Those Golden Bells," and "He Bore It All." What a reward to find these songs in digital format!

"I'll Fly Away" and "There Is A Fountain" were particular gems before unheard. There are no bad songs on this album; only levels of preference.

I haven't heard these songs since I got rid of all of my cassette tapes. Rarely do you find music that can speak to your soul like this. Their rendition of how great thou art has been stuck in my head for 15 years and I can finally hear it again.

This album has some of the most uplifting music I have ever listen to. Truly inspirational I'll listen to it every day

He and his fellow lead singer, Rodney Britt, along with different backup singers,...
