Customer Reviews

David Rhugnanan has composed and recorded a magnificent album worthy of our Lord. He lays his heart down in every word and note that he lifts up to our God. The music is uplifting, and the message of each song seeks to bring the listener closer to Christ. Dave has truly placed his musical gifts at the feet of his Master, and we are blessed to be able to hear the glorious fruits of his labor. --Father Manny Alvarez, St. Gregory Catholic Church, Plantation, FL

Upbeat and Fresh!

This is a great album that is uplifting and energetic. It will surely put a smile on your face and move you in the Spirit. Great blend of rock and R&B piano riffs. What a wonder way to worship Jesus Christ!

Rare… I diamond hidden in plain sight

There are few who I've had the pleasure of listening to that have such an ability to diversify their music and succeed so brilliantly in all of those areas simultaneously as I've experienced from this album. I've been spending a few days trying to come up with at least a top 4 or 5 to elaborate on for this review… but happily, and frustratingly, I've found myself re-listening to each song trying to place them in an arrangement of preference and realizing that I like almost every song more strongly than the previous (ending up in myself looping through the album again). It's hard to explain, but if I were to try, I'd say that this is because there are so many styles packed in this album it never feels like the music gets stale from like-sounding songs back-to-back. The diversity acts like a spoon stirring a bowl of heated queso sauce, not letting a stale skin settle on top. Always fresh.

There's a song here for everyone, especially found in the originals, not just the cover songs! At least one goofy song is in here too (The Hallelujah Song) but it's quite amusing in it's own right. I can feel the passion and dedication put into each and every song guiding you through an emotional range that really surprised me. But if i had to recommend at least a few songs for interested people:

I recommend at least listening to "I'll Stand", "How I Need You", and if you're one who enjoys your techno and auto-tune, gospel-style, "Amazin' Grace Remix". Don't stop there though, like i've been saying, pretty much every song has it's own thing about it that makes it catchy and stand out among it's siblings. And just so you know, those aren't necessarily my top 3, just the last three I've listened to before writing this review. (Currently listening to "The Heart of Worship")

I can't wait to see how you improve on this! Good luck, I can imagine it wasn't easy for you creating this, especially now that you've set your bar to hurdle for the next album!
