iTunes Review

The best word to describe OK GO is meticulous. Most people were introduced to the group via the masterly crafted, eye-catching videos that accompanied their carefully sculpted pop-rock. Their fourth album, Hungry Ghosts, takes a decidedly more electronic approach. While “The Writing’s on the Wall” was produced by Tony Hoffer (Kooks, Beck), the remaining songs were again helmed by The Flaming Lips’ sound guru Dave Fridmann, who encouraged the group’s playful and experimental sides. “I’m Not Through” captures falsetto-R&B in a minimalist synthetic setting, while much of the album flirts with technology most excitedly (“Upside Down & Inside Out”).

One of OK Go’s Best Albums xD!!

The day the album was released I stayed up till 3AM in the morning listing to it nonstop drinking coffee loving the heck out of it. Everything is memorable in this album, the catchy nice beats, meaningful lyrics and the whole feel of the album is perfect. OK Go deserves a grammy for this album for being so well put together and just so divinely perfect. I’m telling everybody I know about this CD and I may just be one person but OK Go deserves all the recognition in the world xD Keep doing what your doing guys I love your music so much!!!

Hungry Ghosts!

OK Go didn't find an audience until 2005, when the band began creating homemade music videos to support its combination of off-kilter guitars, Pixies/Cars fetishism, and straightforward power pop sensibilities. Recognizing the growing popularity of websites like YouTube, the group shot a campy dance video for "A Million Ways," a song from its sophomore album, Oh No. It quickly became the most downloaded music video in history, and OK Go won a Grammy Award for their follow-up subsequent video -- this...
