Album Review

The eighth studio album from Nashville-based, Seattle-born singer/songwriter Natalie Grant, 2013's Hurricane, features more of her passionate contemporary Christian pop music. Produced by her husband and longtime collaborator Bernie Herms (Amy Grant, Casting Crowns, Max Lucado), Hurricane follows up her Dove Award-nominated 2008 album, Love Revolution. This time around, Grant finds a pleasing balance between her electronic dance music inclinations, piano-driven ballads, and rootsy country sound. The album includes the title track single, as well as "Closer to Your Heart" and "In the End.", Rovi

Can't stop

Can't stop listening to the album. Love every song. Her best one yet.

Awesome Album

Of the 10 songs on this album there are only 2 songs that are just "ok." I really like the title track Hurricane, but the last 3 may be the best 3 on the album:
#8: great techno song that puts a beat in you
#9: a tear jerker (song written to Natalie's daughters)
#10: bluegrass song that MAKES your legs move (even in the car)
I am not a very big country/bluegrass fan either
Great job on the album Natalie & Bernie! I love it!
