Album Review

Air Play contains 15 tracks by Jefferson Starship recorded live in 2009, including "White Rabbit," "Lather," "Wooden Ships," and the medley "In the Name of Love/Somebody to Love." While the disc has some decent performances, a few key Starship/Airplane classics have been replaced by cover versions of "Chimes of Freedom," "I Ain't Marching Anymore," and "Wasn't That a Time." While this is not a definitive Jefferson Starship live album, it should be of interest to die-hard fans.
