Album Review

Solid if unexceptional live versions of some of his hits and the title track written for a mostly Canadian coast-to-coast tour. The crowd-pleasing guitarist was in fine form judging by his licks and audience reaction, especially on the album-closing anti-drunk driving anthem "Go for Soda."

Kim Mitchell

This is a good live cd.I really enjoy listening to live music, and if you like live music like I do you would enjoy this album.

how bout a video ???????

Original "Battle Scar"...PLEASE!!!

Kim Mitchell's solo hits aren't bad live but his rendition of his old band Max Webster's AOR hit "Battle Scar" (the original recording featured all three members of Rush on it) is atrocious. Why isn't Webster's 1980 LP "Universal Juveniles" here at the American iTunes? It's there at the Canadian iTunes store. Why not here in the U.S.A.? I've been hunting high and low for the original "Battle Scar" (Geddy's singing, Alex's guitar playing and Neil's drumming are what really make the song) and still, no such luck. Curses...foiled again!!!
