Melancholy sound that makes you happy! Love it!

I am old school and I have to think that the sound is similar to that of the Beatles if the Beatles were still alive and together in the new millenium. Self Help Serenade is one of my favorite albums of all time and I Am My Own Rainbow tricks me into believing that it has not been 12 years since it was released.


Awesome Album!!!


This record is incredible. It is the first album I've heard in forever which felt immediately classic. Dynamic and textured in a way which is very refreshing… I am at a point where I am very frustrated with the way albums sound these days. This sounds classic. Interesting and unpredictable production decisions… rock solid, classic song writing… almost a John Lennon feel to the songs. A real breath of fresh air.
