Some artists are trying to be the thing or becoming the thing or pretending to be the thing. Nathaniel Rateliff IS the thing.

Heartwrenching. Perfect.

After the first 15 seconds of the first song, all of the emotions that Nathaniel & Co have instilled upon me the last few years came rushing back with whole new meaning. "Falling Faster Than You Can Run" will surely set a new standard. So very few capture emotion on such a perfected level. This is not only the perfect soundtrack to a hopeful fall of love, but the background sound to any thing that may come into play in your life.

Music that never gets old

Nathaniel's music is simply the best. There are a few artists that you simply connect with their sound, voice, and talent. Nathaniel is one of them for me ever since i saw him in concert in SLC. This album is brilliant and worth the wait.
