Album Review

As the title says, 10 Years of Hits — Newly Recorded has seven of Gosdin's Compleat hits — like "I Can Tell By the Way You Dance (You're Gonna Love Me Tonight)" — from the early '80s re-recorded for his new label, Columbia, as well as four new tracks. Although they aren't the originals, Gosdin is in good voice and the new versions nearly equal to the hit singles.

This album touches more heart strings than any I can remember. Maybe it's the timeing in one's life, but the messages are perfect!! Thanks for the music

The Man They Called "The Voice"

No, I'm not talking about the TV show...Vern was the one they called simply "The Voice", and this collection shows off some of his best work. His effortless, fluid vocals work well on nearly everything he did. Some of my favs here include Slow Burnin' Memory, Way Down Deep and If You're Gonna Do Me Wrong (Do It Right). However, every track here is excellent...you can't go wrong with this whole album!
