iTunes Review

The fierce sense of independence that permeates Keyshia Cole’s fifth studio effort is no coincidence: Woman to Woman is the songwriter’s first LP without the assistance of longtime collaborator Ron Fair or career-guiding manager Manny Halley. The songwriter’s liberation is palpable on the lead-off single, “Enough of No Love” (which has a skillful verse from Lil Wayne), and the self-confident title track (a duet with Ashanti). But the collection’s depth comes from its quality deep cuts; check out the hook of “Hey Sexy” (produced by The-Dream) and the throwback wah-wah groove of “Who’s Gonna Hold Me Down.”

Slightly disappointed…

I LOVE LOVE KC. Her sound is very unique, her lyrics have meaning, & her passion shows BUT I haven't completely fell in love like I did with "Just Like You" or "A Different Me". Keyshia Cole & Ron Fair are a match made in heaven. I hope & pray that they get together in future projects!

For instance, she did some recording with fellow Bay Area resident MC Hammer way back...
