Anybody remember REAL hip-hop?

Kev Brown has been killin' em for a while on the underground circuit, and he definitely doesn't dissappoint on this project. His production is straight up raw & off the hook. You can see why Pete Rock is a big fan of his. Lyrically, he's really on point too. There are also some good cameos from other members of his Low Budget Crew that work really well. "Albany" is one of the best songs I've EVER heard, but you really can't go wrong with any track on the whole album. You can literally listen to this joint from beginning to end without skipping over anything. How often can you say that???!!! Check this record out if you dig on real music. Keep up the good work Kev. You keep helping me remember why I fell in love with hip-hop in the first place...

Kev Brown is the Man!!!

It's good to see that someone will take Pete Rocks place once he retires. The beats are fresh and very smooth. A real consistent album!

Slept On Hiphop Classic

This album is like Little Brother's The Listening, Slept On. Kev Brown is one of the best producers in Hiphop today. Unknown to many, Kev Brown's style of Hiphop is as classic as a BBE release. Jazz, Soul, and Hiphop never sounded so good together. Think Marly Marl, Pete Rock, Will.I.Am., 9th Wonder, J Dilla, Oddisee, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Spinna, and King Britt: Kev Brown is a moody everyman's Hiphop straight outta Maryland. All time classics include the four A's: Albany, Alone Again, and Always. A MelloMusicGroup top ten producer for 2007.

Soon he began writing his own rhymes, but quickly found that his true talents lay in production.
