Epic Album

Sean Chambers is the best blues musician since Stevie Ray Vaughn. With each of his three albums he has matured and progessed into a finer musician. With this album he's finally nailed perfection. Incredibly rich and full sound. Must Buy

Sean Chambers is THE FINEST BLUES PLAYER that i've seen in the last five years! Blistering solos, gutteral vocals and a master and student of the genre.
The secong coming of SRV in one song. Albert King on another. Billy Gibbons on another. DONT WALK.....RUN TO BUY THIS ALBUM!
Crack open a cold one and smile.

Every song great

From the opening track to the last note, this album smokes. it is easy to see early influences from SRV to Johnny Winter, from Albert King to ZZ Top. yet at the same time Sean has his own unique style. having served as Hubert Sumlin's (of Howlin Wolf fame) opening act and musical director for four or five years touring the world, Chambers had an incredible education. he has now put everything he has learned to good use on his fantastic third recording. Sean is first and foremost a great rockin blues guitarist, having been called one of the top 50 blues guitarist of all time by "Guitarist" magazine. but he is far from a one trick pony. his song writing ability and vocals are also outstanding, reaching new levels on this recording. he is backed by a great band with bassist,Tim Blair (who co-produced the album with Chambers and co-wrote a couple of the songs) and long-time drummer Paul Broderick. in addition, there are key appearencs of keyboardist, harp players and back-up vocalists on select songs.

one of the things i like best about this cd is that all of my friends that have listened to it each have their own different favorite song. there are seven original songs and three covers. "Brown Sugar" is an old ZZ Top song that showcases Sean's gutteral vocals, my son's favorite track. i am partial to Too Much Blues, maybe the most crossover of any of the songs. it is also easy to see why In The Winter Time is a favorite of many with maybe the best guitar solos on the album. if you like your blues with a harp player, you will love "Blues and Rock 'N' Roll". i could go on but it would be more of the same. i heartily reccommend buying the whole album, you will not regret it.

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '90s

Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Sean Chambers counts Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan among his primary guitar influences, and their type of guitar stylings can be heard in his recordings and at his live shows. Raised on the Gulf coast of Florida, like so many others enamored with blues and blues-rock who played guitar, the younger Sean Chambers also lent his teenaged ears to recordings by Johnny Winter, Freddie King, B.B. King and Albert King, as well as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and ZZ Top....
