Album Review

After ten years of inactivity, Rebbie Jackson returned to recording in 1998 with Yours Faithfully. She received a major boost from her brother Michael, who signed her to his MJJ subsidiary and sang and co-produced "Fly Away," one of the highlights on the album. Rebbie has never had a terrific voice, but she has surrounded herself with talented producers who help make Yours Faithfully one of the strongest albums in her catalog. Only a handful of songs — such as the seductive title track, the house-flavored "Once in a Lifetime Love," and the cover of the Spinners' "I Don't Want to Lose You" — really take root, but the filler is well-produced and pleasant, making the record a surprisingly enjoyable comeback effort.

Reebie is the only Jackson Sister that Can Actually Sing

Please disregard this so-called critics comments. They know of what Rebbie can really do. Rebbie possesses a tremendous vocal range its a shame we never really got to experience her at the top we she belongs

With a little help from Michael

Definately is a great singer! "Centipede" and "Fly Away" were originaly composed by Michael Jackson, so can be sure you'll get awesome beats when you buy this. =)

I have to say that I was surprised listening to this album. I think I briefly heard it back when it was released but didn't really pay it that much attention. But listening to it now I have to say that Rebbie is very talented in her own right! I'm not comparing her to Janet or Michael. She has her own sound. It's very different than what I am used to hearing from a Jackson female. And since all I have as a comparison is Janet I guess I don't have much to compare with lol. I LOVE JANET of course! But Rebbie surprises me with her beautiful voice. I heard somewhere that she didn't have a good voice. What a lie that was because yes she does! I bought this entire album and really like almost every track. I wish she were more popular. maybe with Michael's untimely death she will be. I miss Michael and all my love goes out to the Jackson family in this time of sadness. The Jackson family I think will continue to bless us all with their talents. Michael's music will forever be with us for an eternity. Thank you Jackson family. I love you all.

Rebbie Jackson, like her siblings Janet, LaToya, and Randy, was out of the public eye when her brothers stormed the music world as the Jackson 5. Though she sang and was taught clarinet and piano by her mother, it wasn't until 1976, after the Jackson 5 had left Motown and signed with CBS, that Rebbie began a professional singing career, becoming a cabaret singer and background vocalist. She was credited on LPs by the Emotions, Betty Wright, and others during the '70s and '80s; she also appeared on...
