Fun!

For those who don't know Britt Daniel by name, he is the man who leads the band Spoon. And pretty much, that's what you get in his remix. Like a Spoon version of "I Feel It All." Intricately messed with in the studio, with an emphasis on the groove and rhythm between the drum and leading instrument. He plays with different textures, too. Sometimes it hits you, sometimes the sound sweeps you up. I like what he does with the tracks, too. They sound more bare bones, so it's not like you're just re-listening to the same style of production as you hear on the album. The Escort remix is also pretty fun. Kind of like a marching band backing her, although it doesn't have the complete feel. The vocal production is more in line with what you heard on the album. The horns coupled with a more rock-feeling bass give it a definite different energy. Goes with this "fun," theme I've been talking about. Still, if I had to recommend one thing here, it'd be the Britt Daniel remix for it's creativity and the entirely new feel it has.
