Awesome!

I am Taylor Swift's biggest fan, and all of you Taylor Swift haters are WRONG! She's just trying something new! And i actually thought that it was very good. Her lyrics are still deep and personal and she maintains elements from her past albums, but she also brings something new to the table, pop! She's like Shania Twain, country and pop. I am seriously fed up with all of the Taylor Swift haters--- She is a great person, not a snob like one of you haters said. She is very down to earth! And Disney? I've never heard of a Disney Singer who was country! She is nothing like an auto-tuned Disney Star. All of you haters hate her because you barely know her. Don't judge a book by it's cover, and don't judge people if you know absolutely nothing about them! I've read tons of biographies about her, and I have every single one of her songs, and I can tell you that she is a down to earth person who works very hard and is an AMAZING singer.

Still love her

Yes, I loved her country songs that are classic, but music is changing and I think this soundtrack is still great! The songs are still about heartbreak, they're still catchy, and I think if she kept doing the same kind of songs, people would get tired of her. People always complain about how artists' songs all sound the same, so either way people will be criticul I presume. Love it, Tay.

Other singers performed similar moves -- notably, Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson both became enduring mainstream icons based on their '70s work -- but Swift shed her country roots like they were a second skin; it was a necessary molting to reveal she was perhaps the sharpest, savviest populist singer/songwriter of her generation, one who could harness the Zeitgeist and turn...
