Great Jersey Band
I'm Waggin my tail that I accidentially discovered this really cool band... I hear a mix of influences incorporated into a very unique fun, upbeat groovy sound - these guys (and gal) are tight. Catch them if you can live - lots of energy!
Excellent album!
This album is a breath of fresh air in a sea of music that all sounds the same! The tunes on this album are definitely pop-rock-alternative (a little harder than pop-rock) with elements of blues and jazz. Anxiety, Fear, & Despair are great sounding blues-rock-alternative with excellent vocals and AWESOME guitars. The pop-rock sound in the album can contribute to a good mood, but the whole album could create a great atmosphere while working, driving, gaming, having a party, or when your mind just needs a creative boost from some great sounding music. Although LOVE the whole album, here are my top three favs: Things You Call Your Own, Everybody Said, & It Takes So Much. I encourage you to download the whole album... it will soon become one of your favorites too!
LOVE this album
I had to pop onto iTunes to review this album for you folks interesting in purchasing. This is absolutely my favorite Wag album, not to say I don't like the others, but, I woke up this morning with "I Know Now" stuck in my head, and "Long Years" just makes me want to sing. They're all great tunes, the Wag is awesome, I can't say enough good things about this band. (I can say this, though: they're beautiful people, too.)
