Album Review

Just like the title says, this album complies Milo Goes to College and the Bonus Fat EP, both of which are great releases, conveniently packaged on one record. All that mischievous teenage skaters could appreciate is here, classics like "Myage," "I'm Not a Loser," "Bikeage," and "Hope." But for all those who already own their "best of" (Somery, which features the previously mentioned songs), other less-known hits such as "Marriage," "I'm Not a Punk," and "Catalina" are exclusive to this release.

Great choice!

If you have any brains, you will buy this instead of Milo Goes To College. Why do I say this? Because this contains EVERYTHING from Milo Goes To College, plus the Fat EP. Notice anything? This Double feature costs the same price as Milo Goes To College by itself.

I want to be stereotyped.I want to be classified.

Milo Goes to College/Bonus Fat may be one of the top five most influential punk albums ever.Nearly every track is a punk anthem.Myage,Bear,Loser,Hope,Suburban Home are all classics. It may be the least polished Descendents' albums but definately the most inspired. All the Descendents records have some good stuff, but this is by far the best. Two things at Once is nice value as well. This one will not disappoint!!!

Better than a greatest hits album

This should be your introductory album into the world of the Descendents. This album is better than almost any other punk album out there. It's hard to tell from the 30 second clips how the songs have great intros and great verses and wonderful catchy choruses. Get this album now and see what all the old school punk fans already know.

Fueled by "rejection, food, coffee, girls, fishing and food," the Descendents sprang up during the halcyon days of the Los Angeles punk scene; fusing the blind rage of hardcore with an unexpectedly wry, self-deprecating wit and a strong melodic sensibility which set them distinctly apart from their West Coast brethren, they gradually emerged as one of the most enduring and adored bands of their time. Formed in 1979, the Descendents' first lineup consisted of vocalist/guitarist Frank Navetta, vocalist/bassist...
