amazing stuff

there were one or two songs that i was familiar with before i bought the album, and i did not even know that she sang them. i was really impressed with all the other songs, which really show off sarah's unique vocal talents.

Great Cd

After seeing Sarah perform beautifully at the Opening Ceramonies at the Olympics, I grabbed my dad's only Sarah McLachlan Cd, which was this one. I had, previously, only known a few songs like: Building A Mystery, Adia, I Will Remember You, and Angel. I listened to the whole thing while watching the Olympics the next day and really enjoyed it. I wondered and still am, how I didn't realize how good she was earlier. Her good lyrics and musical and singing skills remind me of Jewel, who I have listened to since I was 9. She is a very good artist and this CD led me to get more of her albums.

I was exposed to McLachlan's music at a young age, and I remain thankful to this day for her influence. I was given a copy of Mirrorball as a gift at age four, after falling in love with "Building A Mystery" - till this day it is still my favorite song. There isn't a low point on this album; Sarah delivers time and time again. Her breathy vocals, curious lyrics, and powerful melodies make her a musical monarch, and her music a spiritual experience.
