Creative and well balanced timbres, beautiful melodies, great beats and uncomplicated lyrics. One of the most original and well rounded pop/folk music works of the decade.


I first read about her on Music for Robots, then saw the youtube video and had to buy the EP! Birds Fly Away is my anthem for the summer, all fabulous songs and huge breeze of fresh new orleans air! Can't wait for the full album!


wow. please do not buy this cd-she has very poor taste and i cant believe the tunes she carries. they're not addictive and are just going sha lala ooh the whole time. its a waste of your money.

Violinist and singer/songwriter Theresa Andersson, who was born and raised on the Swedish island of Gotland, emigrated to the U.S. in 1990 at age 18 with her then-companion, guitarist Anders Osborne, and the couple settled in New Orleans, where Andersson first appeared on records by Osborne and by Merritt Doggins & the Bloodhounds.
