New Material Worth A Listen

Disguised as a compilation, this set features "I Started Something I couldn't Finish," a track recorded by the reunited (well, mostly) Bow Wow Wow in June of 2006 for inclusion on a proposed tribute album for The Smiths. You wouldn't know it, though - Annabella's vocals sound as fresh as they did in 1982, and the production is spot on. One hopes that the new Bow Wow Wow album will soon be the light of day. If so, it is sure to be a welcome return of one of the 80's favorite lost children.

The song "I Want Candy" is absolutely great. You have to buy it!

Remember when it made news that Apple was dropping the price of downloads to $0.69 (and a few top hits would be $1.29)? Well it seems like most songs you would want are now $1.29. In fact, this is the first 69 cent song I've seen. (Oh well, at least it's a good one!)

Bow Wow Wow were a quartet organized by U.K. manager Malcolm McLaren (best known as the mastermind behind the Sex Pistols) at the start of the '80s. McLaren matched the trio of musicians who had constituted Adam Ant's Ants — Matthew Ashman (b. 1962, d. 1995) on guitar, Leigh Gorman (b. 1961) on bass, and David Barbarossa (b. 1961) on drums — with teenage singer Annabella Lwin (b.
