I Fall for Lynn Miles' Beauty
If you care at all about folk music, or thoughtful music, or emotional music, or music that goes deep into your skull to see if you have a soul, you have to listen to Lynn Miles. She goes so deep that sometimes you can't find her until your darkest night, and suddenly, you realize that Lynn Miles is the one who is pulling you out of the emotional quicksand.
I'm going to listen to this album over and over, but not in an obsessional way.
Stellar
Lynn Miles is one of those artists that reminds us that fame and renown are the results of chance and happenstance. Lynn is no less talented (gifted?) than the big names like Emmylou, Lucinda and Gillian; she just didn't get (hasn't yet gotten?) famous.
Lynn Miles is a stellar singer/songwriter and Fall for Beauty is a truly stellar work.
