Album Review

The Millennium Collection: The Very Best of the Oak Ridge Boys gathers highlights from the country-pop group's body of work, including number one hits like "Elvira," "Leavin' Louisiana in the Broad Daylight," "American Made," and "It Takes a Little Rain (To Make Love Grow)." Choice album tracks and radio favorites make up the rest of this concise, affordable hits collection from one of the most popular country acts of the '70s and '80s.

Great Collection...

The song "It's Gonna Take A Lot Of River' should be on here; as well as "Beyond The Years" - both from the Monongehela album. With William "Mountainman" Golden back on board, they are ignoring the years with that other lead singer. Too bad, because I like them best during those years.

Great Classic album

Ever song on here is great I Wish You Could Have Turned My Head (And Left My Heart Alone) is my fav. With other songs like Leaving Louisiana in the Broad Daylight and America Made. These boys are great in it's self.

Can't download the album artwork.

I have this CD and put it on my iTunes, but iTunes won't let me retrieve the album artwork? How does that get fixed?

Their existence dates all the way back to World War II, circa 1942-1943, when a Knoxville, Tennessee group began...
