Geat album

This band is amazing. They have gone through some tough times but they still managed to stay cool. This album is everything that they have been trough over the years, and if you are lucky enough to see they play live you will understand better. Personally my favorite song off of the Keepsake of Luck is Farmhouse Blues. When I saw them play it live it stuck with me for like three days. This album is really worth the buy. Get it now

The Charm is Gone...

This album has it's few gems, and, for the most part, it rings true to the rebels lack of musical identity: a new album and a drastic departure from the last. I think the rebels will be the best band if they ever learn to add onto their sound rather than recreate it. This album was recorded a long time ago, and it's not "what they've been through" in the "recent years" at all. They lost the rights to these songs, and released these when they got them back. I saw them play sick kids 4 years ago on the warped tour. This album is rockin', but not in "glam" style like the last. Some of these songs are really hard to listen to. I've been to more rebels shows than I can count. Nice guys, great live, but they rebel's 'hay'day is over. Buy 2, 6, 10, 13 and pick up the two, or three albums prior to this one.

Never disappointed.

RCR has never let me down with releases. If you're lucky enough to mature with a good band throughout the years, you love everything they do. This band has stuck it out through 'band cancers' that destroys most groups, and has always written from their hearts. Along with great producing I think they've done very well here.

Formed: 1999 in Burlington, VT

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s

River City Rebels formed out of the unlikely town of Burlington, VT, in late 1997. With the original members of guitarist Dan "Bopper" O'Day and drummer Erik Schmidt and bassist Chris Jukosky, River City Rebels would endure a number of lineup changes before settling down with Ward Aimi (vocals), Brandon Rainier (trombone), Gabe Rich (guitar), and Dan McCool (trumpet). Resulting in a sound of street punk, ska undertones, and a politically inspired lyrical content, Victory Records eventually released...
