13 Songs, 43 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

On his third album, Dustin Lynch moves beyond the big ballads and bad-boy rockers that helped define his first couple albums. Here, Lynch offers a wide-ranging set of rock- and R&B-influenced country tunes (about half of which he wrote himself) that express a wide spectrum of emotions. There’s plenty of fun, clever writing on guitar-driven sing-alongs like “I Wish You Were Beer” and “Party Song,” but the songs that hit the hardest are catchy midtempo tracks like “Small Town Boy” and “New Girl."

The Evolution of an Artist

Sonically, this album feels a lot different than Dustin's first two releases, but it feels as though this one was a lot more deep and personal than the others. You can hear a lot more of the pop, rock, and R&B influences and styles that Dustin likes while still maintaining his country sound. Love this album through and through, and love that he took a chance doing what he wanted to not and not what everyone else wanted him to do.

Current mood is incredible fun and has something for everyone

This album is incredible. From start to finish this album definitely tells a story and brings the listeners in. My favorite track on this album is new girl. It definitely is my story. I totally can relate to each and everyone of these songs. From the beginning track jealous too, too The albums last track son don't go down on that. Sonically this album is incredible. The lyrics are awesome, the songwriting is top notch, and Dustin lynches vocals are incredible. Whoever produce this album should get a 10 out of 10 because it is incredible. The instrumentation is incredible. I love the new pop country sound that Dustin presents in this album I cannot wait to see these songs live when he goes on his head line tour. I am really excited to see all of these songs performed. I remember when I first heard party song and I knew that this next album was going to be epic. This album definitely did not disappoint and it is one of his best yet.

Thought this was Jason Derulo

Dustin Lynch needs to hand over his cowboy hat. This is not country music, what a sellout.
