An Inspiring Debut

The Universal Void

I haven't been this excited for a full length debut since NE Obliviscaris', years ago. And if what I've heard so far says anything; my excitement was well-warranted. This band knows how to write great music, they have a lot of skill with their chosen instruments and the singer more than keeps up with them. She can sing, scream and do basically whatever the situation calls for. I have great hopes for this band and I hope that they'll be around for a good long time yet.

Welcome to The Cabaret of Dreams

The Miracle Squeeze-Box

I admit that Boston has been producing some of the Greatest Rock/Metal bands in history for over 40 years, including, of course, Aerosmith, Boston, Extreme &, most recently, Anaria; but newcomers Seven Spires have a surprisingly distinguishable sound that made me stand up & take serious notice
This amazing band co-led by singer/songwriter Adrienne Cowan & upcoming guitar shredder Jack Kosto has been active for almost 5 years, concocting a strong mixture of Black, Death, Symphonic, Power & Traditional Heavy Metal that started capturing everyone’s attention thanks to the release of their previous E.P. “The Cabaret of Dreams”; in fact, all the E.P.’s songs are also featured on their Fantastic debut album “Solveig”, which expands from the original story & introduces some new elements along the way
Adrienne’s voice is definitely a big part of their sound because, having studied Musical Theater, she can easily go from the usually accustomed clean vocals to some monstrous grunting & growling without missing a single detail
One more thing: Please ITunes get it right; Seven Spires fits in the Heavy Metal category, not Black/Death Metal, because there is some grunting & growling as I said but most of he album actually has excellent clean singing

Really great album!

Great songs and great playing! I like that they're not your typical power metal band. These guys are really eclectic, unusual and modern
