Album Review

The down-home boys from Atlanta deliver one of the most sensational and promising rock debuts since MercyMe's Almost There. Echoing Angels, formerly Two Bare Feet, performed for seven years before releasing their INO Records debut. Their fan base grew as they played at more festivals and cultivated more original material. There's something about the blue-collar ethic and Southern-style camaraderie of these guys that contributes to the album's overall attractiveness. Producers Scotty Wilbanks (Third Day, NewSong) and Pete Kipley (MercyMe, Rebecca St. James) preserve the quintet's raw grit and powerhouse energy, laying toe-tappers like "Let Go" alongside power ballads like the buoyant "Coming Back to Life." Volume-wise, the boys crank it up on the album's best track, "Living Inside of Me." The captivating title track was the album's first single; it features delicate guitar work and a simple affirmation of devotion. Other tracks with staying power include "Rise Up," "Make It Better," and "Free." You Alone lays the foundation for a solid career with a musical approach similar to Lifehouse, Matchbox Twenty, and Tonic. Overall, it is a welcome introduction to a band that shows plenty of potential. You can't help but root for these guys.

These guys are on fire for the Lord!!

These guys were at my church this morning!! I could feel their love for our Heavenly Father! They were awesome

This record will be released as a "Greatest Hits" record about 10 years from now... Well, maybe that's going to far. BUT, they have a few songs on this record that can make it into the "Top 5" on the charts. Echoing Angels are not only about the music. They came to my church, and they are GREAT guys, they practice what they sing about... SO, call your local stations and request their song!!! I think Echoing Angels will be around A LONG TIME, and they truly deserve to be where they are!!! Congrats Guys!!!

God is being praised here

these guys truly know how to worship God, and praise Him; these are good songs- I Will- is telling exactly how we feel sometimes and what we go through, really good album

Originally called Two Bare Feet, Christian rock band Echoing Angels was formed in 1999 by drummer Jon Poole and bassist Josh Armour. Soon they added singer Chris Peevy and guitarists Shannon Cochran and Jared Lee and their lineup was complete. After years of playing the indie Christian circuit, the band's song "You Alone," began to receive significant airplay in their native Atlanta, enough to get them the attention of INO Records, who signed Echoing Angels (it was in fact...
