Album Review

For the Christian listener seeking danceable tunes with uplifting messages, they can't go wrong with the rock quartet FFH's release I Want to Be Like You. Filled to the brim with peppy tunes, the toes start tapping and body quickly follows while listening to this album. Even toddlers find it fun, bouncing up and down to the pulsating beats. Three stand-out tracks include "Fall to You," "I Want to Be Like You," and "Big Fish." The title track has a melody that sticks with you for hours after the album is done playing. "Fall to You" is also a tune that sticks around in the mental radio station for additional airplay. But by far the best for sheer dancing inspiration is the rumba styled "Big Fish." Picture Jennifer Lopez in the hit movie Selena and you have a fair idea of the Latin feel this song has. Overall a good listen and great for the Christian DJ. ~ Dacia A. Blodgett-Williams, Rovi

Grew up

Grew up to this song. I am Christian but not big into Christian music bc it don't appeal to me. Like the slowness of the delivery. But this....CLASSIC. Favorite song "One Of These Days". God bless

Never Gets Old

FFH is excellent at producing lively music that will bring a good message. I've listened to this group since I was about 2 years old. Sure, the music industry offers some great music these days, but I never get tired of FFH.

I love this album

This album quickly pushed FFH into the limelight, earning the band two No. 1 hits, four Dove Award nominations, and Christian Research Report's Best New Artist of 1999. Found a Place, a stunning follow-up, was issued in spring 2000. I...
