The Best of the Best

This has to be, in my opinion, the greatest album Paul McCartney has released in his career. Its full range of emotions from the uppity "Fine Line", and the melancholy "Riding To Vanity Fair" to the flat out silly "English Tea" Paul outdid himself (which is an accomplishment in itself.) It's a real shame that he didn't write this music in the 70's or 80's when this style was really appreciated by the masses, for it is completely underrated today and nearly every song should have been a chart topper, when instead people like Ke$ha and Justin Beiber take total popular control. “Fine Line” is his greatest work since the Beatles in my opinion, it never fails to lift my mood; then there’s the almost Harrison style “Friends To Go” which has me singing along every time. Even the lesser songs of this album are works of art, such as “How Kind Of You” and “At The Mercy” though not as sensational as “Fine Line” still uphold the McCartney Standard. I give this album a solid 10,000 star rating!!!

Impossible to skip a track

This is among my top ten albums. McCartney plays all the instruments on every single track. I watched on TV "Chaos and Creation at Abbey Road" where he plays this album live at the Abbey Road Studio and I wish they could make it avaliable for download on iTunes. Excellent stuff!

Great Cd

One of Paul McCartney's best cd's. It's right up there with Band on the Run, Ram and Tug of War.

Out of all the former Beatles, Paul McCartney by far had the most successful solo career, maintaining a constant presence in the British and American charts during the '70s and '80s. In America alone, he had nine number one singles and seven number one albums during the first 12 years of his solo career. Although he sold records, McCartney never attained much critical respect, especially when compared to his former partner, John Lennon. Then again, he pursued a different path than Lennon, deciding...
