iTunes Review

Paul McCartney's 1973 album, Band On the Run, is one of his most perfectly realized non-Beatles efforts. Recorded in Nigeria, the album contains some of McCartney and Wings strongest tunes and band performances. From the high-energy pure pop of "Jet" and "Helen Wheels" to the song suite of the title track, this is an airtight collection. This 2010 remastered version contains live tracks pulled from the unreleased One Hand Clapping documentary film. Band On the Run also contains iTunes LP - which offers up lyrics, photos, and fantastic promo videos and films from the time of the album's release.

I love Paul

I think that Sir James Paul McCartney is the most brilliant and talented person on Earth!!!! <3

Reason for the remaster

The reason that these albums are being re-released and remastered again are because Paul McCartney is now under a different record label, he's no longer with EMI, so to have his albums put back out they had to be released under this new label.

Anyways this is a great album as I said in my old review, if you only want a few songs make sure that they're "Band On The Run" "Jet" and "Mrs Vandebilt"

Awesome - Nothing else to say

Without a doubt ... it just keeps getting better

In America alone, he had nine number one singles and seven number one albums during the first 12 years of his solo career. Although he sold records, McCartney never attained much critical respect, especially when compared to his former partner, John Lennon. Then again, he pursued a different path than Lennon, deciding...
