I was dead asleep last night and I had SiriusXM's Bluegrass Junction playing softly like I always do. Out of nowhere I felt myself go from one dream to another. I was sitting in my old childhood church and a young woman stepped up to the pulpit (unannounced) and started singing. There must have been 200 to 300 people sitting in the congregation. Everyone stopped as soon as they heard the woman singing and became transfixed on the content of her message. Toward the end of her singing everyone started clapping rushed out of the church really fast, but there were like 25 people left including myself. They all literally bolted. Seemed inappropriate considering the message of the song. At some point during the song, in my dream, I felt myself become physically aware that I was asleep. So I made it a point to wake up and get the name of the song. Maybe that's why everyone rushed out, haha. I didn't need any distraction from waking up or something.
I felt the Holy Spirit that lives within me worshiping Jesus and God. It physically made me conscious of the message of the song in my dream. By all accounts at first I thought the song was a figment of my imagination. Praise God it's real! I'm going to share it with everyone I know.
I'm a "hard rocker" if you were to classify me as anything. I play bass in a hardcore band and I've invested 12 years in my local music scene. My reason for saying that is.. I never thought God would use something like Bluegrass to touch me. Seemed old fashioned growing up, but now it's all I can listen to in order to find the in dwelling peace of The Lord.
I've never hear a group translate this message until I heard it in this song.
Mother Teresa was asked "How do you love people?" She replied "I look at them as if they are Jesus."
